West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation authorities issued on Sunday an administrative detention order against Palestinian leading figure detainee, Fazi’ Sawafteh.

Accordingly, Sawafteh was transferred to administrative detention for six months, days after his detention at the hands of Israeli forces who raided his home in Tubas before detaining him.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli authorities released Sawafteh last year after another administrative detention sentence, knowing that he has spent more than 15 years in Israeli prisons.

Sawafteh, a father of four, is a leading figure in Tubas and an ex-detainee who has spent several years in prison under the arbitrary administrative detention law.
