Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation court in occupied Jerusalem transferred Palestinian Jerusalemite detainee Subeih Misbah Abu Subeih, 24, to administrative detention for four months, after completing his sentence of 30 months.
Amjad Abu Asab, Head of the Society of the Palestinian Detainees’ Families in occupied Jerusalem, said that the Israeli occupation authorities issued an unfair decision to transfer Abu Subeih to administrative detention, knowing that he was supposed to be freed from his detention on Wednesday.
Subeih is the eldest son of a martyred father, and has been detained several times, transferred among several Israeli prisons, and is currently detained in the "Negev" prison with his twin brother Izz al-Din.
Israeli occupation forces detained Subeih on the 5th of March 2020 after raiding his home and damaging its contents and then transferring him to the investigation in the al-Maskubiyeh detention center. Almost a year after his detention, the Israeli authorities sentenced Subeih to two and a half years in prison for alleged incitement and participation in resisting Israel.
