Gaza, Alray - Israeli forces shot and injured ten Palestinians on Tuesday evening during clashes in El-Issawiyya village in occupied Jerusalem.
Member of the monitoring Committee in El-Issawiyya Mohammed Abu Hummus told Alray that the ten were injured after a group of undercover Israeli settlers attacked the village during a demonstration to protest the killing of the three Palestinians in Qalandia Refugee Camp on Monday.
He added that "the Israeli forces arrested three young Jerusalem citizens including a handicapped Palestinian; a state of tension aroused among Palestinians in El-Issawiyya following the incident,"
Palestinians ignited tires and threw stones on the Israeli soldiers who were at the main entrance of the village, whereas Israeli soldiers threw stun grenades and rubber bullets at them before dispersing the demonstration using water cannons.
In the same vein, Israeli army arrested five children aged between 14-16 years in the Bab El-Amoud area in the central Jerusalem, and took them to the investigation center under the pretext of throwing stones on a bus carrying settlers.
