Gaza, Alray - Israeli occupation forces stormed on Thursday evening the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem, in an attempt to arrest a number of boys and young men.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center said “a number of settlers headed to Ein Silwan area in the afternoon to perform religious rituals while Silwanic children raised Palestine flags and banners with the slogan ‘I love you Silwan’,”
The settlers tried to abuse them by beating and seize the flags, the center noted.
It added that “a large number of Israeli troops stormed the town and stationed in the central neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh,”
They took the children’s flags and threatened to arrest them before deploying into the alleyways of the neighborhood.
The settlers provoked the Silwan residents as they danced to the Quran recitations, the local center said.
