Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces closed Tuesday evening Kerm Shalom crossing in the southern Gaza Strip indefinitely.
The coordination committee for the entry of goods to Gaza said in a press release the occupation informed them of the closure until further notice, without giving reasons.
Israeli occupation opened Tuesday morning Kerem Shalom crossing only for the entry of fuel used to activate the sole power station in Gaza and for transportation sector.
It is noteworthy the Israeli occupation closed the commercial crossing for ten inconsecutive days within this month under the pretext of Jewish holidays, which worsen the already bad conditions in the besieged Gaza.
Kerem Shalom crossing is the only commercial crossing in Gaza, through which goods, humanitarian aids and fuel are partially entered to the people of the Gaza Strip. It is closed on Friday and Saturday of each week by Israeli forces.
