After a number of intermittent days of ceasefire between Palestinian resistance and Israel, Gazans woke up again to the sounds of missiles and bombardments that continued for the 45 day on a row.

As Israel resumed attacks against the besieged Gaza Strip, at least 24 Palestinians have been killed and dozens were injured since Tuesday evening.

ALRAY paid a visit to al-Shifa hospital in Gaza and took this testimony of a man who was injured today due to an Israeli airstrike.

Rushdi Al Khuli, a 62 year old man, lies on a hospital bed surrounded, by his relatives. Al Khuli suffers severe injuries that spread all over his body.

He recounted with difficulty what happened with him: " Today, I was in my grocery [ in AlZaitoon neighborhood east of Gaza ] as usual as two little girls came to buy some sweets. Suddenly, a massive explosion hit the grocery. I did not remember what exactly happened, but I saw blood and several corpses".

One of his relatives said that three people including a 2 year child Nour Abu Hassira were killed in this explosion made by an Israeli airstrike, but he did not tell Al Khuli for he was suffering critical injuries.

Rushdi Al Khuli is a father of nine children, 6 girls and 3 boys, one of them,16, was killed in Gaza war 2008 when he was 16 years old.
