Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY-Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five young Palestinian men during storming of their houses in the town of Silwan, south of Al Aqsa Mosque, after beating them.
Eyewitnesses reported that the IOF stormed houses in al-Aour neighborhood and Hosh Abu Tayeh in the town of Silwan, blew up the main gates, arrested several youth after searching their houses and tampering with their contents.
They added that the soldiers fired sound bombs at the residents of Hosh Abu Tayeh and beat four young men from Abu al-Hamam family,lead to injuring one of them and transferring him to the hospital for treatment.
The detainees were Mohammed al-A'war, brothers Arafat and Amer Abu al-Hamam, and brothers Shadi and Muhammad Abu al-Hamam.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported that the IOF stormed the house of 'Arafat Abu al-Hamam in Abu Tayeh neighborhood and beat him and his sons severely, and then arrested him, in addition to his brother Amer and his sons Muhammad and Shadi.
The information center confirmed that IOF stormed the neighborhood of Ain al-Luza, and forced the owners of shops to close their shops.
The IOF also threw sound bombs and rubber bullets in the neighborhood. While the youth responded by throwing Molotov cocktails and fireworks at a vehicle belonging to Israeli settlers.
