Ramallah, ALRAY- The Committee for the Affairs of Prisoners and ex-prisoners warned on Wednesday of the worsening health conditions of a number of prisoners held in prisons of Negev and Rimon, in light of the continued policy of medical negligence by the Israeli prison administration.
The detainee, Zafer al-Rimawi, 43, in the Negev prison from Ramallah suffers from problems in the thyroid gland, causing him general weakness throughout his body.
Mustafa Bregia, 33, from Bethlehem, suffers from a difficult health condition due to disability of his right foot, tendon paralysis.
He suffers from inflammation of the pelvic joints, discus, inflammation of the prostate, urinary tract and hernia, and he does not receive the necessary treatment for his condition.
Fathi al-Najjar, 45, Palestinian from Hebron and in Negev prison, suffers from hemorrhoids, ruptures in the knees, swelling of the hernia operation, and severe pain in the teeth.
The sick prisoner Said Muslim suffers from swelling in the foot and hand due to the consequences of having a heart attack a year ago, in addition to continuing to deprive him of visits.
Nabil Abu Yabes, 27, from Bethlehem, suffers from acute pains in the right side of his abdomen due to kidney aches, respiratory distress and infections in blood, and he does not receive the necessary treatment.
