West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army and illegal colonial settlers have committed 923 assaults against Palestinian citizens and their property over the past month, according to the Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission.

In a report issued Tuesday, the commission explained that most of the attacks took place in occupied Jerusalem, with 181 assaults, and Nablus, with 141 assaults, followed by Hebron and Salfit, with 101 assaults each.

Last month, Israeli colonial settlers perpetrated 123 assaults against Palestinian citizens and their property, including carrying out organized attacks in Hebron, Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jericho.

Moayad Shaaban, the commission’s director, said that the Israeli occupation government is sponsoring such attacks by allocating funds for Israeli colonial settlers to build illegal pastoral posts, which are considered a hotbed for the radical colonial settler gangs known as “Hilltop Youths”.

According to the report, the Israeli occupation authorities have issued 168 notices against Palestinian structures over the past month, including demolition, stop-work, and eviction notices under the pretext of construction without a permit, mainly in Jericho and Salfit.

In September, the Israeli occupation army demolished 74 Palestinian homes, commercial structures and sources of livelihood, particularly in Jenin and Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation army and colonial settlers uprooted and destroyed a total of 728 trees, mostly in Salfit and Hebron.

The Israeli occupation authorities advanced 16 proposals to construct 816 illegal settlement units on 4,414 dunums (414.4 hectares) of occupied Palestinian land and approved five plans to build 684 illegal settlement units on 204 dunums (20.4 hectares) of occupied Palestinian territory.

The report pointed out the Israeli occupation authorities renewed an order to seize 350 dunums (35 hectares) of occupied Palestinian land in the villages of Qatanna, Al-Qubeiba, and Beit Anan, north of occupied Jerusalem, and Beit Liqya in western Ramallah.
