Gaza, ALTAY - The Israeli occupation army has atrociously quelled peaceful, popular demonstrations held near Gaza’s eastern fence, injuring dozens of Palestinian citizens.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 11 young men sustained gunshot wounds after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the eastern fence of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli occupation soldiers also heavily fired tear gas at the peaceful protesters in the east of Gaza City, causing several of them to suffocate.

Hundreds of Palestinian citizens marched on Tuesday evening near the eastern fence of the blockaded Gaza Strip to protest the repeated Israeli attacks and violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Last Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army shot dead a young man and injured several more while violently attacking the popular demonstrations along Gaza’s eastern fence.
