Gaza, ALRAY - The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, stated the people in Gaza have suffered enough, and they deserve more than just a return to calm.

Wennesland added in a tweet on the "X" platform: "The situation inside the Gaza Strip is dire, and we must avoid another conflict that would have grave consequences for everyone."

He expressed his concern about the escalating tensions in Gaza and its surrounding areas, noting that the United Nations is in contact with all relevant parties to improve the lives of people in Gaza, especially the most vulnerable groups.
