Gaza Strip, ALRAY - The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) has documented dozens of heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army against Palestinian media workers and outlets.

According to the GMO, seven journalists were killed, more than 10 others were injured and two others went missing during the heavy and indiscriminate Israeli occupation bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army bombed the homes of dozens of media workers, two of which were completely destroyed while the rest of them sustained partial damage, the GMO added in a press statement.   

Israeli occupation warplanes struck a number of multi-storey residential buildings in the blockaded Gaza Strip, wreaking havoc on more than 40 media offices.

The GMO called for forming an international investigation commission to probe into the Israeli occupation's crimes against Palestinian journalists and media outlets.

The Israeli occupation army launched an all-out assault against the besieged Gaza Strip, killing at least 765 Palestinian citizens, mostly women and children, and injuring around 4,000 more since the early hours of Saturday morning, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
