West Bank, ALRAY - Israeli military court of appeal decided  on Monday to double the sentence of the detainee Amjad Na'alwa, brother of Ashraf who warried out Burkan attack, to be two years and a fine.  

Ashraf Na'alwa carried out in October 7 2018 a shooting attack in Burkan industrial area ,near Salfeet, killing two settlers and a third injured seriously.

Israeli military court sentenced his brother Amjad to 12 months, that ended in September 15 2019. However, the court knee to the pressure of families of killed Israelis and extended his term to another year and fined him 70.000 NIS.

Na'alwa was convicted, according to the indictment filed by the Israeli Military Prosecutor, of disrupting the investigation, as he deleted the recordings of the surveillance cameras in the house after the operation.

The occupation authorities continue to arrest Wafa Mahdawi, the mother of the martyr Ashraf, on the pretext that she did not prevent her son from carrying out the attack.

On December 13, 2018, Israeli forces executed Ashraf Na'alwa during a special military operation in Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, after two months of searching.
