Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday at dawn conducted a wide-scale campaign of raids and detentions across several districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces broke into different areas in the city of Talkarem and detained five people, after raiding and searching their houses.
The sources identified the detainees as Yahya Sawy, Rami Abu Samra, Abdullah Rarsas, Adnan al-Husari and Muthanna Raba.
In addition, the IOF forces broke into the town of Beit Ummar, south of Hebron, and detained tow youths named Muhammad Khalil and Muhammad Arar from their place of work in the pre-1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
In Bethlehem, the IOF forces broke into the city’s refugee camp and detained youths Muhammad Hammash and Hamadeh Sarahneh, after raiding and searching their houses.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
