Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday at dawn detained two Palestinian youths during a raid campaign targeted multiple districts across the occupied West Bank.

Prisoners’ Media Office reported that the IOF forces detained a youth named Ashraf Salaima from the occupied Jerusalem’s town of Beit Hanina, while detained youth Yusuf Sawafta as he was crossing a military checkpoint last night.

Local sources said also that the IOF forces raided several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron and ransacked the house of journalist Raed Abu Armila.

The sources added that the occupation forces stormed and ransacked the house of Mahmoud al-Hroush in the city’s town of Yatta.

In the same context, the IOF forces set up a number of sudden military checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Beit Na’im and Halhul, stopped the citizens’ vehicles and checked their IDs.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
