Gaza, ALRAY - Hamas Movement on Saturday vehemently deplored the executive decision announced by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about labelling the goods made in Israeli settlements built on the 1967 occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank as “made in Israel.”
The movement considered this move a serious aggression against the Palestinian people and stark violations of international law, as it gives the Israeli occupation the green light to annex the remaining of the Palestinian territories.
It confirmed that it’s deeply concerned about this decision that deems Gaza and the West Bank as politically and administratively separated regions, which confirms the role of this extremist administration in deepening the intra-Palestinian division to advance the Israeli expansionist agenda.
The movement added that these dangerous decisions taken by the US administration before leaving office reflects its extremism and desire to impose irreversible realities on the ground.
It stressed that any decisions taken by any side whatsoever won’t break the Palestinian people’s will and struggle for their inalienable rights to freedom, independence and return.
The Hamas movement called upon the newly-elected US administration to reverse all arbitrary decisions taken by the Trump administration in favor of the Israeli occupation and its expansionist project, which violates international law and eradicates any prospect for fair and comprehensive solution to the conflict.
