Gaza, ALRAY - The Israeli bombing of Gaza has so far resulted in the killing of at least 29 people, the Palestinian Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza said on Sunday morning.
The ministry pointed out that the death toll includes six children and four women.
It added also that 253 people in Gaza had been wounded since the Israeli aggression against the blockaded Gaza Strip began on Friday.
Spokesperson for the ministry Ashraf al-Qedra said that the number of the martyrs is expected to increase since the Israeli airstrikes directly target overcrowded residential buildings, leaving several people critically injured.
Al-Qedra indicated that there is a 40 per cent shortage of equipment and basic medicines, and a 60 per cent shortage of laboratory equipment due to the Israeli closure of the Gaza crossings.
on Saturday, the Palestinian Energy Authority in Gaza said that Gaza’s only pwer plant ran out of fuel and thus stopped working as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the strip.
