Jenin, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained at least three Palestinian youths from different areas in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces detained three youths after storming and ransacking their houses in Jenin.
The sources named the detainees as Yasser Amarna, Yasser Ghawadrah, as well as the ex-detainee Yousuf Nawasra.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces closed the al-Jalam military checkpoint, locating northeast of the city of Jenin, and imposed a ban on the movement of the Palestinian people coming to the city.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
