Jerusalem, ALRAY - An Israeli occupation court sentenced Palestinian detainee Ahmed Nabil Jadallah, from the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank to seven months in prison, in addition to a fine of one thousand shekels.
Al-Asra Media office reported that Israeli forces detained Jadallah on the third of December 2022 at the Karama crossing, as he was returning from Algeria, and was then transferred to the investigation at the Petah Tikva center.
Al-Asra office pointed out that after Jadallah’s trial was postponed several times, the Israeli occupation court sentenced him to 7 months in prison.
In a related context, the Israeli military court in Salem transferred detainee Islam Bani Shamsa from the town of Beita, south of Nablus, to administrative detention for a period of 6 months.
Israeli occupation forces detained Bani Shamsa on the 17th of December 2022, after raiding his family’s home in the town of Beita and damaging its contents under the pretext of searching it, and then transferred him to the investigation at the Petah Tikva military center.
Al-Asra Media office reported that the Israeli occupation court extended the detention of Bani Shamsa twice before issuing an administrative detention decision against him on Wednesday without charge.
