Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation authorities demolished Monday a Palestinian agricultural room and uprooted fruitful trees in Al-Issawiya village in occupied Jerusalem.

Ayyoub Abu al-Hummus said that he was shocked to see Israeli occupation forces breaking into his grove and removing the metal fence surrounding it before demolishing a room used for storing agricultural equipment.

Abu al-Hummus added that the Israeli occupation soldiers chopped down 40 olive trees, 15 grape trees, and fig and citrus trees that he planted about two years ago.

The Israeli occupation forces also bulldozed the land, razed the roads leading to it, cut off water supplies to it, and seized agricultural equipment.

The 280-dunum plot of land is located in the east of Al-Issawiya village and is owned by the Abu al-Hummus family, who have documents proving their ownership of it.
