West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army has shot and wounded 13 young Palestinian men, one seriously, and detained 14 more during an overnight raid into Aqabat Jabr camp in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.

According to local sources, a large number of Israeli occupation forces stormed and ransacked more than 50 homes, including the houses of Jericho Governor Jihad Abu al-Asal and his sons, after breaking into the camp.

During the violent raid, the Israeli occupation army surrounded a home in the camp and fired short-range Energa anti-tank rifle grenades at it.

Israeli occupation forces also fired live rounds and tear gas towards homes and young men, injuring 14 of them, one critically.

The Israeli occupation army detained 14 young men during its raid on the camp.

Israeli occupation forces erected dirt mounds on all entrances to Aqabat Jabr camp, blocking its residents from coming into or out of the camp and preventing ambulances from entering the area to evacuate the wounded.
