Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces shot and injured several Palestinians, as well as detained others during a wide raid campaign across different districts of the occupied West Bank.


Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces broke into Jenin, resulting in erupting confrontations with Palestinian youths, during which the Israeli forces fired at them live bullets.


The sources added that eight Palestinian youths were injured during the confrontations, including one with serious injuries.


They indicated that the Israeli occupation forces also detained Walid Jalamneh along with his two sons Suhaib and Qutaiba, Nawras Ghawadra, Hasan Hardan and Ibrahim Hussais.


In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces broke into Askar refugee camp in Nablus and detained Yousuf Mansour, and ex-detainees Samer Abed and Ahmad al-Aqra.


Health officials said that at least 15 people sustained tear gas suffocation during confrontations that erupted after the Israeli occupation forces broke into the refugee camp.


In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces detained three ex-detainees named as brothers Mohammed and Mahmoud Harish, as well as Mohammed Saleh.


Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces detained youth Khaled Bani Odeh after raiding his house in Tubas, while detained teen Ali Abu Shihab from his home in Qalqilya.


Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the occupied West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by ‘Israel’ at some point in their lives.   


It is now holding 4,900 Palestinian detainees, including 31 female detainees and around 160 children, in its prisons, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights groups.
