Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Palestinian Authority's Minister of Awqaf, Hatem Al-Bakri, has stated that Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, have broken into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound 18 times, while, the call to prayer was prohibited 60 times in the Ibrahimi Mosque during the past month of September.

Al-Bakri explained in a report released by the ministry on Sunday that these settler intrusions occurred both in the morning and evening, accompanied by provocative rituals and tours.

He pointed out that these intrusions coincide with alleged calls by "Temple organizations" for widespread and collective incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays.

The destruction carried out by the Israeli occupation this morning, seizing part of the contents of the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall, has been condemned as an act of aggression and escalation in the religious war imposed on the Palestinian people and their sanctities. Al-Bakri emphasized that "the prayer hall is an integral part of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, possessing the same sanctity and value."

Furthermore, Al-Bakri noted that Israeli authorities prohibited the call to prayer 60 times at the Ibrahimi Mosque in addition to closing it for several days under the pretext of Jewish holidays. He stressed that "the actions of the occupation constitute a blatant and flagrant assault on the properties and sanctity of the holy site."
